	I have always know Taylor guitars were very high end. Proir to having bought the 910 CE I purchased a Martin D45 Koa brand new in Aug. of 2007. I put a Fishman Rare Earth Blend Pick up in it. For this combination of Martin acoustic electric I paid several thousand dollars more than I did for my new Taylor that I bought in Nov. of 2008. Having played the two extensively let me say I perfer the Taylor. In my opinion the action, neck size, balance and over all feel is superior to my Martin D45. Whether you play the Taylor plugged or unplugged the crisp,clean booming sound is out of this world and second to none. They are both great instruments but had I bought my Taylor first I really don't think I would have bought the Martin other then for pride of ownership to say you have a very high end Martin. I've been playing for over 40 years. I love bluegrass and finger picking . Let me say in closing that the Taylor 910CE was well beyond my expectations and that anyone who makes the purchase will be completely satisfied to say the very least. Was this review helpful to you?
