ESP Gus G. Electric Guitar The ESP Gus G. Electric Guitar features a tone-maximizing set-thru neck and a solid alder body with a sweet flamed maple top. The thin U-shaped neck with 22 extra jumbo frets provides comfort and speed. A Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker pickup at the bridge and '59 at the neck provide plenty of power and note distinction. Gotoh tuners and a Floyd Rose locking nut keep you tuned so you'll sound your best. The Floyd Rose Tremolo bridge gives you the tool to make it talk, and a coil-split min switch gives you lots of tone options. The ESP Gus G. guitar has black nickel hardware and flame inlays on the rosewood fretboard that finish off a great look.Set-thru neck construction is an innovative technique in which the neck is glued to the body (like a set-neck), however the traditional bulky heel is carved away (similar to neck-thru-body construction). This makes access to the upper frets and the neck-to-body transition much smoother. Just as on a set-neck, you will get a combination of tone from both the neck and body with the set-thru construction. The sound will depend on the types of wood used, but generally will have a fuller, warmer tone when compared to most neck-thru-body guitars.
